Dr. Bryson L. James Scholarship Announced
The Sidney B. Meadows Scholarship Fund is announcing a new named scholarship to honor Dr. Bryson L. James. Dr. James, who not only served as Director of Horticultural Research for the SNA, coordinator of the conference and editor of the Annual Proceedings for 37 years, but was active in the SNA Research Conference for nearly 50 years. 2019 Scholarship Application Available
The 2019 Sidney B. Meadows Scholarship Application process is now open. In 2018, the fund awarded a total of twelve $1,500 scholarships to twelve students for a total of $18,000. In 2019, we expect to award the same. For eligibility and to apply CLICK HERE.

Since its creation, the Sidney B Meadows Scholarship endowment Fund has awarded over $520,000 in scholarships to students from across the Southeastern U.S. We are working on a list of scholarship alumni to display here soon. Sidney B. Meadows Fund Awards $18,000 in Scholarships
ACWORTH, GA, August 22, 2018 – The Sidney B. Meadows Scholarship Fund, created in 1989 by the Southern Nursery Association (SNA), has announced the names of twelve students from seven southeastern universities chosen to receive academic scholarships this year. Five of the awards are named scholarships honoring past industry leaders. The $1,500 awards, totaling $18,000, has been presented. CLICK HERE to read more.

The Horticultural Research Institute believes in helping students obtain the education necessary to successfully pursue horticultural careers. Our generous donors have created seven scholarship opportunities for students to support their academic journey. Backing motivated students today plays a vital role in protecting and growing the industry tomorrow. More than $20,000 in scholarships are available for the 2019-2020 school year.
